How to Set Email Notifications for Online Credit Applications


Once subscribed to RouteOne Digital Retail Services, your Dealer System Administrator (DSA) should save the appropriate settings for your dealership to set email notifications for the online credit applications.

In order for a DSA to set lead notifications for Digital Retail Services, they must be subscribed to Digital Retail Services within RouteOne. For more information on how to subscribe, click here.

Click on ‘Admin’ from the top navigation and select ‘Premium Services.’

Click on ‘Digital Retail’ to expand the section. Scroll down to the the ‘Online Credit Application Configuration’ section.

Click the ‘Email Notification’ button.

Within the ‘Third Party Lead Notification’ section, choose the ‘Participating’ option from the dropdown menu.

You can also access the ‘Third Party Notification’ section by clicking ‘Admin’ from the top navigation, selecting ‘Preferences,’ and scrolling down to that section.

Add the email addresses you wish to notify when leads are created. You can add up to ten email addresses to receive notifications.

For each email address, select the preferred email type (Plain Text or ADF), and select the online credit application source(s).

In order to receive lead notifications for both Mobile Point of Sale and Digital Retail, both options must be checked in the dropdown menu.

Once all the email addresses and preferences have been entered, click the ‘Save Information’ button at the bottom page.

An email notification will be sent each time a user submits a credit application, or a silent lead has been created (Standard and Premium subscription only).

    Yes, dealerships subscribed to the Standard or Premium package can allow specific users at their dealership to be notified when someone completes an online credit application.

    To allow a user to receive email notifications after a lead has been generated, the Dealership System Administrator (DSA) should see the ‘How to Set Email Notifications for Online Credit Applications’ section of this guide.
