Sending Insurance Leads to Insurance Providers
Dealers who have a contractual relationship with one or more participating insurance provider(s) will, with customer consent, be able to send customer lead data to the provider(s) when submitting a customer’s credit application to a finance source. The insurance lead data will allow the insurance provider to contact the customer directly regarding an insurance quote.
If you would like to enroll in this service with a participating insurance provider, please contact the RouteOne Service Desk at 866.768.8301 or [email protected]. In addition to having an agreement in place with the desired insurance provider, you will also be required to accept a RouteOne eDPA amendment in order to participate.
To send customer lead information to the insurance provider(s), fill out a consumer’s credit application as normal. At the bottom of the page, underneath the ‘Comments’ section, you will see a consent and checkbox. Once you have gained the customer’s consent to share their lead data, check the checkbox to indicate their consent and send their contact information to the insurance provider.
The following customer information will be sent to the insurance provider:
- First and Last Name
- Full Address
- Vehicle VIN
- Phone Number
- Email Address
In addition, the user ID, first name, and last name of the dealer user who submitted the credit application will also be sent to the insurance provider.
If you have contractual relationships with multiple insurance providers, they will each appear beneath the consumer consent with their own checkboxes. Check the boxes for the provider(s) to whom the consumer has consented to sending their information; these checkboxes may be checked independently of each other.
Click ‘Submit’ to send the credit application to the finance source(s) of your choice, and the customer lead data will automatically be sent to the selected insurance provider(s).
Once the application is submitted, all further communication will take place directly between the insurance provider and the consumer. No further communication will be relayed to your dealership.
